Use Search Jobs to search the CyberMedia Dice job database. You can enter a basic keyword search from the CyberMedia Dice home page or you can perform a search within your MyCMD account. Use the advanced job search to refine your search criteria.
Do the following:
Click on Search Jobs.
In the full text search field, enter your keywords separated by spaces. You can search by the skills you have or you can use this field to search for job titles, cities, and other information.
Select a Search using option to filter your search.
Enter data in any of the other fields that you wish to use.
Use the formatting options to further narrow down your search. See below.
Click Search.
City Search Use City Search to search specific city areas within the CyberMedia Dice job database.
Search by Company Use Search by Company to search for jobs by company in a specific region.
Note: Skill Search only searches for skills listed where as Full Text Search will look for titles, locations, and other information. This provides links to jobs containing those skills or other information located in their descriptions.
Examples include:

Skills such as Unix and Java
Titles like - Programmers or "Web Developers"

To search for a specific job type, enter the job title into the Full text search field. Use double quotes around the entire job title. For example: To search for technical writer positions, enter "technical writer" in the Full text search field. This assists the search engine in providing you with accurate results.
Additional examples of specific job types include:
"Business Analyst"
"Database Administrator"
"Hardware Engineer"
"Project Manager"
"Software Engineer"
"Systems Administrator"
"Web Developer"
Leave the full text search field blank and click Search to return all jobs in the database. If you have selected check boxes, radio buttons, or multiple-select bars, the results are filtered accordingly.
Search using Select criteria to filter your search.
All of the Words Returns job entries containing ALL of the keywords entered into the search string.
Any of the Words Returns job entries containing ANY of the keywords entered into the search string.
Boolean expression Allows a more specific search using "and", "or," or "not" to separate keywords. Refer to Using Advanced Searches.
Sort by If you choose Relevance, the Jobs that match you best will appear first. If you choose Date, the most current jobs will appear first.
Days back to search Select the number of days back wish to search. This is based off of the date when the position was posted.
Jobs per page Select how many jobs you would like to appear on the Job Search results page.
Location Enter the state you would like to search for positions. To select multiple locations, hold down the <Ctrl> key (Command key on Macintosh) while clicking selections. To narrow your search to a specific city, refer to City Search.
Country Enter the country you would like to search for positions.
Technical Sales - Check this box to find hundreds of jobs in Technical sales on CyberMedia Dice.
Show detailed summaries Select to display detailed summaries for all positions matching your search criteria.
Search You can enter as many or as few search criteria as you desire, click Search to retrieve a list of Jobs matching your search request.
Note: If you have a MyCMD account, you can save job searches to your Saved jobs folder and create Search Agents.
